Evening & holiday workshops
Interactive small-group sessions at weekends and in the school holidays. Topics are chosen by The English Tutor and full session notes are provided. An early registration discount is available — please enquire.

Terms & conditions
1. Booking and payment
- 1.1 Payment is due the day before the lesson. Lessons are confirmed only once payment has been received.
- 1.2 Workshops and block bookings are payable in full in advance of the first session.
- 1.3 Payment is by bank transfer; account details are provided on booking.
- 1.4 Fees are reviewed periodically. One month's notice will be given of any change.
2. Cancellations and missed lessons
- 2.1 At least 24 hours' notice is required to cancel or rearrange a lesson.
- 2.2 Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice are charged at 50% of the lesson fee.
- 2.3 Lessons missed without notice are charged in full.
- 2.4 Should The English Tutor need to cancel, a rearranged lesson or a full refund will be offered.
3. Group lessons
- 3.1 Group rates are based on the agreed number of students, and the full session fee is payable whether or not every student attends.
- 3.2 If a student cannot attend, the group may either cancel the session for everyone or continue with the remaining students sharing the absent student's cost, so that the full session fee is met.
- 3.3 The group must confirm which option applies before the session is due to begin.
- 3.4 If a student leaves the group permanently, the rate for the remaining students is adjusted to the appropriate band.
4. Lessons and resources
- 4.1 All lessons are conducted via Zoom. Students are asked to join promptly, with a reliable internet connection and their materials to hand.
- 4.2 Lesson time missed through late arrival cannot be made up at the end of the session.
- 4.3 All resources are provided for the personal use of the student and may not be copied, shared or resold.
5. General
- 5.1 Booking a lesson is taken as acceptance of these terms.
- 5.2 Parents and guardians are welcome to make contact at any time to discuss progress.
